Q's
comics pages
I
think of stories all the time but lack the patience to write
it down..
But I like to draw, always have. My daughters like to draw and
it has been fascinating seeing them express their awareness
of their environs via the pages of illustrated stories and comics
they created, that I still have in boxes.
Children I have noticed often draw other characters as parts
of themselves so rather than tell little children to draw differently,
I just remind them to keep their pencils sharp.
Comics are easy to draw because the images are heiroglyphs to
convey the story. Drawn simply as Dilbert or beautifully as
Doonesbury. Both brilliant.
I use Flash and Xara..
also used Webpainter for my animation 'Winnie' below, a program
which is simple and easy for children to use, along with a graphics
tablet. I use Wacom tablets but Genius make them cheaper. Dont
try to draw with a mouse.
